At approximately 10:30 This morning, Station 68 was alerted for an engine to assist Station 61 at a barn fire in West Vincent Township. Engine 68-1 responded with a crew of 6 volunteers. While units were responding, Chief 61 arrived on scene to find a large burn pile to the side of a barn and a small fire in the peak of the roof of the barn. Engine 68-1 arrived and began extinguishment of the burn pile and the fire in the roof. Crews remained on scene for about an hour.
