A Week in Review

June 28, 2026

Over the past week, Valley Forge Volunteers responded to 10 calls for service. The most notable incident was assisting West Norriton with a building fire. Engine 68-1 remained on scene for over 7 hours, while other crews responded to two additional emergencies.

Crews also visited the Saint John's Lutheran Summer Camp, where they spent time with campers, provided fire prevention education, and demonstrated their firefighting equipment.

The week concluded with a significant achievement as Elsa Beltran graduated as a Nationally Certified Firefighter. Along with her class at Montgomery County Fire Academy, she completed more than 180 hours of training. The department looks forward to seeing her take on new responsibilities and participate in emergency responses in the near future.
