| Shortly after 9pm, Valley Forge Fire and 67 EMS were dispatched to the 400 block of South Second Avenue for a vehicle accident. Chief 68 arrived moments after dispatch to confirm one vehicle vs. a utility pole with one occupant to be checked by EMS. 68 units shut down the roadway and requested PECO to the scene for a severed utility pole with live wires down. The occupant refused EMS care and the roadway was shut down until crews could replace the pole. Valley Forge crews were in service for over an hour. |
