Around 530pm this evening, Valley Forge Fire & West End EMS were dispatched to a vehicle accident in the area of South Whitehorse Rd and East Philip Dr. Initial reports indicated upwards of 7 people injured. Chief 68 arrived to find multiple vehicles blocking and multiple people in the area of the crashed vehicles.

After initial assessment of the injured, a total of 4 ambulances were requested with additional medics also being requested.

Crews assisted with patient care, as well as, controlling the fuel and other fluids leaking from the cars.

In total, 3 adults and one juvenile were transported to Paoli Hospital. A 5th adult was also evaluated on scene but refused transport by EMS.

The roadway was closed for approximately 60 minutes while crews cleared the roadway.
