Shortly after 930am, Berwyn Fire units were alerted to assist an injured hiker on the trails of Mount Misery. Initial Berwyn crews began their journey at the base of the trail on Yellow Springs Rd and hiked up until they found the patient.

Valley Forge units were requested to access the trail with ATV 68. 68 units gained access from the top of Mount Misery and traveled to the patient and attending Berwyn crews.

Crews battled the rocky trails and 100+ degree temperatures. The patient was loaded in a stokes basket and transported to an awaiting ambulance.
