When: Our 6th annual Poker Run will be held on Saturday September 17, 2011(rain or shine).
Where: The poker run will start at the Hooters in King of Prussia and ride to the following five locations: Trappe Tavern, Little Oley Tavern, Gear Jammers Saloon, Joe's All American Pub and Restaurant and Valley Forge Fire Co. Picnic Grove. The total distance of the ride is approx. 66 miles.
Registration: Registration is from 10:00AM to 11:30AM at Hooters in King of Prussia on the day of the event. There is a $20 donation per person which includes a buffet and live music back at the fire house grove and one free T-shirt to mark the event.
How it works: There are a total of 5 locations in the poker run, not counting the registration location. After registering at Hooters, at each stop, each registered participant will have an opportunity to draw one random card from a deck of cards. The value of each card will be recorded on an entry form which will then be turned in that the final location. The top poker hands will win their choice of prizes.
Additional Details: Pre-registration is also available by visiting our Social Room starting on July 1. Register between July 1st and September 11th to ensure your shirt will be available on the day of the event. Sorry, no refunds. Every effort will be made to ensure that all persons registered will receive a T-shirt.
Be sure to register early so you will have enough time to enjoy some leggs and Eggs at Hooters before starting the ride. Also, the Jack Daniels Girls will be back!
The final stop of the run will be at the Valley Forge Fire Co. Grove where a buffet will be provided for all registered participants. The winners will then be announced at approx. 4:30pm. The top poker hands will receive cash and prizes. Afterwards numerous prizes will be raffled off, raffle tickets will be sold during the event. In addition, the winner of this year's Harley Raffle will be be announced.
All proceeds from this event benefit the fire company.
