Harley Raffle and 6th Annual Poker Run September 17, 2011
SCHUYLKILL TWP, PA - On Saturday September 17, 2011, Valley Forge Volunteer Fire Company held the 6th Annual Poker Run motorcycle ride and fundraiser. Approximately 263 motorcyclists assembled at Hooters in King of Prussia to register for the ride. After picking up event shirts and directions for run, riders were off on their scenic 66 mile journey.
Motorcyclists toured the county side making pit stops at The Trappe Tavern in Trappe, Little Oley Tavern in Boyertown, Gear Jammers Saloon in Douglasville and Joes All American Pub in Kimberton. The ride ended at picnic Grove at Valley Forge Vol. Fire Company.
Once back at the firehouse, everyone enjoyed a buffet, beverages and some great music by a local rock band, Lights Out. Shortly after 5PM, the winners with top four poker hands were announced along with the winner of this year’s Harley Davidson Motorcycle Raffle… And the winner of the Harley Raffle was… Jack Foell!!!
Congratulations Jack!
