White Horse Road Bridge Closed as of MAY 17th May 17, 2010
The White Horse Road Bridge between Pothouse Rd and White Horse Rd in Schuylkill Township is closed. The bridge will be demolished and replaced beginning the week of MAY 17, 2010. According to PennDOT, the bridge replacement is to be completed no later than June 2011.
During Construction, Whitehorse Road will be closed between Yellow Spring Road and Pothouse Road. Cars will be detoured over Valley Park Road, Country Club Road and Route 23. Truckswill be detoured over Route 23, Route 29, and Yellow Springs Road.
Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area. Additional information can also be found at the Schuylkill Township website.
