East Pikeland House Fire

On Wednesday, October 14, 2009, Valley Forge Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to assist Kimberton Fire Company on a house fire. Crews from Phoenixville and Ridge Fire Companies were also alerted. Engine 61-1 (Kimberton) was the first to arrive reporting fire showing from the front of the house. The first in crews made quick work of the fire and began removing objects from the fire room. Valley Forge Crews assisted with securing the utilities and overhaul of the fire area. All units were available after approximately 2 hours.
