The Valley Forge Volunteer Fire Co. Auxiliary hosted another packed pancake breakfast this past Saturday, March 7, 2009. The eager group of volunteers once again transformed the VFVFCo apparatus building into a gourmet food buffet complete with flower adorned tables to help raise funds for their fellow fire fighters. Guests were treated to an amazing breakfast spread of French toast, Belgian waffles, fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, sausage, chipped beef and pancakes!
When asked how they pull off such a fantastic event, one member responded with a smile, "It is all about team work. Each Auxiliary member brings a different skill and strength to the group, without each member?s contributions these events would not be so successful!"
In addition to the gourmet breakfast items, guests were treated to a large selection of fresh homemade baked goods also prepared by the Auxiliary members! Click here for a list of future Auxiliary events.
