Something for Everyone at the VFVFCo Yard Sale by Linda Cole 4/29/2008 |
On Saturday, April 26, 2008, the parking lot of the Valley Forge Volunteer Fire Company was transformed into an open air market place. Twenty vendors displayed a huge variety of merchandise on tables for an eager crowd to explore. Merchandise varied from clothes to toys, and dishes to home decorations. There was something for everyone and obviously by the number of treasures carried out by the crowd, people were happy with what they found.
If shopping made you hungry or thirsty, the Auxiliary had a donuts, soft pretzels, hot dogs and sauerkraut, cookies, chips, coffee, soda and juice to satisfy every taste. Thank you to all who participated and thank you to all the members of the Auxiliary who helped organize this event.
