Record Crowd at Valley Forge Open House 10/08/2007
The warm weather brought out the crowd to Valley Forge Vol. Fire Company's Open House. We had many activities for the whole family including squirting water from a hose, using a fire extinguisher, going through a hay bale maze and face painting for a few. Our friends from 911 were on hand and Mark gave out batteries for smoke detectors. The fire prevention trailer was there to teach two ways out. Sparky came to visit the kids and there was food a sno-cones for everyone.
The firefighters demonstrated how they put out a car fire.
It was a good open house for all. Thanks to the many volunteers who helped put on the event and to those that participated.
