Girl Scout Troop 419 Tours Fire Company

Girl Scouts with their parents and siblings of troop 419 meet at the fire company to take a tour.

Firefighter Edgar shows how the nozzle works.  Each girl was able to open and closed the nozzle.

Firefighter Joel brought out a flashlight to show
the girls.  Each girl was able to see how heavy
was the flashlight.

Showed the girls the tools firefighters use during a fire.

Firefighter Joel dressed up in his turnout gear
to show the girls how we look with all of our
gear on.

Firefighters stress the importance of not hiding from them when they are in a fire.

The Girl Scouts and their parents
had a good time at the fire house.

Thanks to firefighters Joel and Chris on helping out with the tour.
