Our 22nd Annual Golf Tournament is around the corner! This year's tournament will be held on Saturday May 4, 2013 at the Pickering Valley Golf Course. Each year we organize this golf tournament to raise money for the fire company which is used for firefighting equipment and training.
You can support our fund raiser in various ways... Play in our tournament, donate money as a Hole Sponsor, or donate door prizes to be raffled off to the tournament golfers.
Ticket Information: Tickets are on sale in the Social Room of the firehouse for $340 per foursome. This fee includes 18 holes of golf, golf cart (one for each pair of golfers) beverages while golfing, plus a catered buffet and beverages at the Valley Forge Fire Company Grove following the round of golf.
Hole Sponsor Information: There are two types of sponsors, the standardhole sponsor and the gold sponsor.
Standard hole sponsorships are available for a minimum of $100.00 each. Each hole sponsor may specify the information to be displayed on their sponsor sign. The sign is posted at one of the eighteen tees during the tournament. The sponsor is also listed on our website.
A GOLD sponsorship is available for a minimum donation of $200.00. The gold sponsorship signs have a gold border and are prominently displayed at the first tee in the area of the practice green. These signs are visible to golfers when they first tee off, when they make the turn after hole number 9 and when they complete their round. The sponsor is also listed as a gold sponsor on our website.
Door Prize Donations: After golf, on the day of the tournament, door prizes are awarded to the golfers on a lottery basis. There is no minimum requirement for door prizes. Each person/company who donates a door prize will be listed on our web site.
Please note that 100% of the money raised goes directly to the purchase of new fire and rescue equipment as well as training for our volunteers in the latest fire fighting and rescue techniques. This enables us to be prepared for any emergency in your community.
